Meet Our Team

Kris Jones


In 2013, after over 20 years of success in the automotive industry, Kris saw a need in the market for a company that would do what the others just didn’t. Provide great, quality products at a fair price, while prioritizing the customer experience. TER Texas was conceptualized with this at the core.

Almost a decade later, integrity, honesty, and customer service is at the root of the decisions Kris has made to lead the company to the success it is experiencing. Having led the company successfully through the recession, he will continue to lead it to even greater success in the future.

Kris loves to spend time with his wife, daughter and son-in-law as well as hunt, fish, boat, mountain bike and travel.

Jeremy started with TER Texas at the very beginning in sales. Using his 5+ years experience in sales and customer service in the tech industry, he was able to help grow the company’s reach through the years.

After more than a decade with the company, Jeremy is now Director of Business Strategy & Technology​, helping train new sales people, managing special projects, and helping run the day-to-day of the business.

He loves spending time with his wife and three children, playing guitar, golfing, and serving in his church.

Robert Chavez​​

General Sales Manager​

After working half a decade in the oil & gas industry, Robert came to work at TER Texas as a commercial account manager.  His experience and hard work led him to gain one of the largest fleet accounts in our industry among many other clients.  He is adamant about communication with his customers, big and small.  It continues to drive his success today and into the future.  Robert has completed multiple industry training programs, received several certifications, and continues to focus on further education.

He enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter and is a bit of a fitness junkie.  In all areas of his life, you will see that Robert is dedicated and goes the extra mile.


Clint started with TER Texas as a Technician, and with his drive and determination he quickly advanced to a Team Leader in our shop. After a few years, he expressed the desire to utilize his skillset, attention to details, and knowledge of products and equipment as a Commercial Account Manager.

Clint brings over a decade of experience in Automotive Equipment, Team Management, and Customer Service to the TER Texas team. Clint has an eye for details, and is determined to see that every customer is thrilled with their experience.

In his free time, Clint is a dedicated Husband and Father to his wife and two kids, loves to hunt, fish, boat, and pretty much do anything outdoors.

Ryan Trout

Inside Commercial Account Manager

After serving in the United States Marine Corps infantry, Ryan began working in carpentry for many years. Eventually, he gained the knowledge and opportunity to transition into a position as a sales assistant, and eventually sales manager, for a custom home builder. From there, he transitioned into selling high-end luxury furniture and case goods. Ryan believes in having a diverse and well-rounded knowledge base. So, when the opportunity to join the team at TER Texas presented itself, he jumped at the chance. His success, he believes, is due to his attention to detail, ability to develop a trusted bond with his clients, and ability to function well under pressure to accomplish the task at hand.

He is a devoted family man, spending much of his time with his spouse and children. His hobbies include being an avid outdoorsman, specifically hunting, fishing, long-range competition shooting, and hiking.


Grant embarked on his professional journey at TER as a technician, consistently delivering top-notch performance. This commitment extends to his current role as a commercial account manager, where his positive attitude, interpersonal skills, and strong work ethic make him a valuable team member. Grant prioritizes honesty and integrity in both his personal and professional relationships, taking pride in providing exceptional care to his clients.

Outside of work, he enjoys quality time with his wife and two children, engaging in activities such as singing and playing guitar at his church, fishing, hunting, and running his own coffee business!

Joe Miller

Outside Commercial Account Manager​

Joe is a highly decorated Army veteran who served in Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. After serving, he worked in aviation maintenance and management before transitioning into project management and eventually using his skills to jump into sales in the truck up-fitting industry. Joe has a strong work ethic and uses his knowledge of managing high-functioning, critical teams and projects to maximize productivity and optimize satisfaction to meet his client’s needs. His strong communication skills and knack for building and maintaining relationships contribute to his success. 
Joe enjoys spending his free time with Jesus, his wife, and three active kids. His hobbies include pouring into the youth through sports. You can find him golfing with the Veterans Golf Association when he is not on a sports field.


Chris began his automotive career as a Certified Technician at Ford Motor Company, with a subsequent transition into Customer Service as an Advisor. Over the past 24 years, he have excelled in the role of Commercial Service Advisor for Ford in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Building a strong foundation on client understanding, effective communication, and the establishment of trust has been his hallmark throughout his career.The transition into sales with TER Texas represented a new and exhilarating opportunity to uphold these core values.

Outside of his professional pursuits, he enjoys engaging in home improvement projects, pursuing his passion for fishing, and sharing a love for football.
